Thank you sideshowalan! Once I had the diagram I realized I could pop off the seatbel trim piece. Then it was just a matter of pulling and letting the belt retract a bit. It finally just loosened up and is now fixed. Having our little kids in the back is the reason for the tangled seatbelt. Apprecia...

Thanks, for the advice. However, you are correct, I am trying to take the seat apart. Basically split it in half. I cannot figure how to take the screws off the back of the seat. I need to access the middle of the seat to get to the seatbelt initerial reel located in the top middle of the back seat....

Does anyone know how to open up the back seat to gain access to the middle seatbelt inertial reel on a 2003 vibe. It is the middle seatbelt and it has become stuck and I cannot retract it. I tried removing the two visible screws but there is some hardware that I have no idea how to remove?
