Did they ever decide the correct amount of oil to replace after an complete oil change and filter? 3.8 or 4.4

Did GM and or Toyota change the oil capacity on the 1zz-fe motor to 4.4 up from 3.9 qts? I read this on the T-SB-0134-08 July 15, 2008. I never got the memo
