new brakes/rotors?

OK, this seems odd. I bought a 2005 Vibe with 79k 2.5 years ago. regular maintenance every 5k. I tend to use coupons. I went to a place 5k ago (105k on odo) and they said car in great shape, brake pads half worn. I went back to same place 5k later and they called and said "oh man your brakes an...

replace grill?

Hi, I have a 2005 Vibe base model with the 3 piece lower "billet"(?) grill. Alas the small passenger side grill has gone by the way side. The drivers side one looks like it just snaps in. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? I've seen lots on the net but they all say "replacing ...

rooftop cargo boxes?

howdy again. Now I'm wondering what the best rooftop box would be. My 2005 has pretty short side rails, so my load bars are 30" apart. Should I avoid the long ski type boxes, as the nose would may stick too far out front? (wind issue I would think). That is an appealing option as it'd be for mo...

Mine's a Curt class 1, haven't bottomed yet but haven't gone anywhere adventurous yet either. This might be the easiest vehicle for hitch install ever

Re: (Diskdoctor)

I found a Curt class 1 on eBay for $79 shipped, 4 bolts took 7 minutes to install. Then found a Thule Helium 2 bike hitch rack on Craig's for $90, so think I did pretty well. I also have a Yakima Raptor roof top bike rack still brand new, will prolly sell it

Also scored some Yakima Rail Grabbers so was able to use my Yak bars and locks, and have a Raptor roof rack, so now have...

that's what can be frustraitng about Yak/Thule's fit guides. They both claim zero compatibility. I'll probably go with Saris anyway, great company (as are T and Y).

hitch bike rack?

Hi. New to this (great) forum. Just bought a 2005 Vibe, very excited. I discovered that Curt makes an easy to install hitch for the Vibe. However, both Yakima and Thule claim they don't have compatile hitch bike racks for the Vibe. Saris (great company) does. Is this the route I should go? I'd like ...
