Re: Teflon Coating???? (steves76)

The paint sealer or environmental paint protection as they call it sold by the dealerships is called Auto Armor. The sealer has a Teflon fluorocarbon resin base that is made by DuPont. I have it on my Vibe and it's great stuff. The splattered bug guts, tree sap, and bird crap don't stick or leave an...

Re: UPDATE > 2004+ Vibe front mudflaps part number available! (MooseFactory)

Correct, that is the right part number for a monotone 2004 Vibe. 12498056 - Front12498057 - BackHere is a picture!Front flaps are very easy to install, about 10 minutes. The rears are easy, but you have to remove the rear wheels and drill a few holes. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Also, the direc...

The FI guy quoted me $1206 for a 60 month/50,000 mile plan, $100 deductible. This price was supposed to be great because my company is a GM supplier. I checked with the AAA and the plan they have 60/60, with a $50 deductible is $738. The kicker is that for $1249 AAA offers a 7 yr/100,000 mile plan. ...

Re: UPDATE > 2004+ Vibe front mudflaps part number available! (ragingfish)

Mike is right. I picked up last years model #12498056 for my 2004 monotone yesterday and they fit like a glove! By the way, the pictures I posted are of flap #12499855. Good luck with the 3 to 4 days, it took me 10 working days. At least the flaps come in, my bumper protector has been on order since...

Re: Any vibes in Virginia? Check this out! (MonotoneSatellite)

I've got a Neptune Monotone AWD and live in No. Virginia. Those guys in the VA legislature are so old they hang from coat racks so they don't fall down. Governor asks for more money, everybody is up in arms about tax increases and the turkeys give him more than he asks for. . .anything is possible w...

Re: UPDATE > 2004+ Vibe front mudflaps part number available! (NSimkins)

Just picked up the new splash guards for my 2004 monotone Vibe. Looks like GM has done it again. The guards are designed to be a part number fits all 3 models, so if you have a monotone the cut out for larger molding on the other two models show as a big void. Looks really bad. Went back to the deal...
