Re: (northvibe)

Totally agree with BlueCrush. With the SC, CAI and now 10psi you should really be listening for light pinging at WOT.The Unichip wont adjust to changes, so I would definitely want to know what my A/F ratios and EGTs are. Wouldnt want you to do any damage.

Another thing to take into mind is that Greenfire was using a Split-Second AIC-1 fuel controller to run his 5th injector, and the A/F ratio was re-tuned with it.The engine can definitely handle the power from the SC. Greenfires problems were the result of running to lean while under full boost.Hopef...

JP stands for the owners initials. Jose PulidoThe JP exhaust is very well made. It is only available for the 1zz engines. The stock exhaust manifold on the 1zz engine sucks. The exhaust manifold on the 2zz is designed like a header. You probably wont see much performance gains from the header without ...

Re: (vibepa)

The Matrix and Vibe have different ECU's. Thank GM for that one!As far as the Unichip goes, dont assume just because Unichip North America refers a local tuner (if any) that the tuner will tune on your particular model car or that they can successfully tune the Unichip with SC. The success lies in t...

Hey Faultline, what % alcohol to water mixture are you running? Also, about the 14psi boost, here is an exerpt from one of Rick (Raamaudio) posts about his engine: "...I recommend running 10 PSI at the most for a daily driver setup, 8PSI is an even better idea, the higher boost will cause more r...

Re: Would these headers fit on the 1zz base vibe? (shibaman)

I havent received my header yet. I will be getting the TRD SC soon, so I wont be putting on the header until after the SC install. If I was not getting the SC, I wouldnt bother with a header.

Re: Would these headers fit on the 1zz base vibe? (shibaman)

You could get either one, except the 'stealth' version was $100 more. I got the stealth so that when smog check rolls around I wont have any problems or need to remove anything first.

Re: Would these headers fit on the 1zz base vibe? (shibaman)

The JP Performance header offered in the group buy is also available in a 'stealth' model. The 'stealth' model allows you to retain the stock heat shield. With the heat shield in place, you cant really see the header.
