I had a guy pull out in front of me on the highway and stop. He got a ticket for it. The car wouldnt shut off and the radiator cracked and drained so it really hurt the engine. I would guess that the actually make to plastic different and not sand it down after the fact. that would be too labor intensive, but I could be wrong.

Actually the plastic is different. The monotone plastic is smoother, there is debate on how long the paint would last on the non monotone plastic. The 2 closests dealers around here said they wouldnt do it because the paint wouldnt stick.

Nissan Murano

Anyone seen the new Murano coming out? It looks very vibe like, (almost too much to me) and will come with the Altmias 240 6 cylinder in it.Hers some pics. (sorry for the large size)

For some reason it automatically turns off the recurculation for you occasionally. (book said something about helping to prevent condensation). Seems strange to me.

Can you paint the bottom to make it monotone?

My local dealer said you could paint it, but he wouldnt expect the paint to stay on more than 6 months. Has anyone else looked into this?
