Re: Varible Valve Timing (dgekiere)

Thanks, I looked. This diagram seems to point to changing the vvt valve. While good info If the valve needing attention, I don't think I'll get involved with handling that expensive item til I need to. I'm assuming the "filter and seal" are nearby.......almost there. more later

Varible Valve Timing

Since changing the vvt oil filter may presumeably become scheduled maintenance, I'll try posting this one here. Can anyone help me with the location of the aforementioned in a 2009 2.4 Vibe?? It's fairly tight in there so I'd won't start guessing. Thanks for any assistance.

Re: Gas mileage is lousy in 2006 Vibe base (mysticbluevibe)

I know it's ugly now but I've got some ideas to dress it up.. more snaps later. This was only an expieriment based on the studies done on air flow parameters done by some HVAC engineers. After understanding enough of that stuff, I figured I'd be okay regarding any code generations.. I got NONE. Plan...

Re: (bikeman1)

Although I haven't added fogs to my 09' yet. I did a custom mod for air intake and used the fog/blank to mount the intake horn.. After you remove the underside covers, about 4-5 10mm lag bolts and a couple of those push pin clips, it's fairly easy from there... First... the blanks have 4 corner taps...

Re: Gas mileage is lousy in 2006 Vibe base (djkeev)

The filter box and new filter is still stock, including the permanant looking gauzelike filter in top of the filterbox... It has superio...
