More good news, my Vibe arrived in Sherwood Park today! Ordered it March 8 so it took about 19 weeks.

8 weeks? Must be nice. I ordered mine nearly 20 weeks ago and it still hasn't shown up. Must be waiting for winter so they can deliver Canadian orders by dogsled.

Your dealer should be given a tentative delivery date. I know mine gets an update every Monday morning.

I've heard rumors that U.S. Vibe orders are given priority over those from Canada. Can anyone confirm this for me?

I was about to cancel the order but GM assured me it would be built in the week of June 24 and actually told me the truth. Couldn't find another car that suited our needs like the Vibe. Should be delivered by the end of July. Also at 6'3" I am too tall to fit in a lot of the competition!

Anybody know if the rebate applies to Vibes purchased (not leased) in Canada? Mine is on the train from NUMMI right now.

Finally some good news. Talked to GM today and they say my Vibe will be built this week before they shut down the factory for 2 weeks. After the trouble I have experienced I won't believe it until the keys are in my hand.

In my case cancelling the order won't be a problem, my full deposit will be returned. My dealer has been helpful, it's GM that I have the problem with. I'll let you know what I decide.

I spoke with GM after reading your posting. They have actually moved my build date up from June 24 to this week (June 17). I still won't believe it's built until I see it.
