I've only driven the RX, because I want a car with utility, and the ES isn't really that much cheaper than an RX anyway. I think the RX is more fun, the Vibe has a smaller engine and has to work harder to move itself. The RX is very smooth, and you just cruise around in it.

I thought that was a silly comment from Money when I read it. The Matrix (or the Vibe) is far more practical than the Corolla for college kids - after all, most of a dorm room can fit into one I think the Matrix is about 1,000 more than an equivalent Corolla.
