Re: What car did you trade in or give up on for your Vibe??? (VibeR8Lava2Tone)

1995 Chev Monte Carlo Z34.Really a great car. High performance, but high maintainence costs saw the end of her.Went with toyota reliability, 4 doors and a pretty tricked out 4wd system. No complaints here.I do miss the instant gratification of 210 horses trampling little ricers though.Cheers
So how is the cai? Have you gotten a cel yet? Have you noticed a difference? Tell me, tell me. I'm itchin to buy one now.
No problems here at all. No cels. There is a significant growl under accelleration, and better passing power. I have noticed a difference over my...

Re: Installed Cosmo Racing CAI on my 4WD (Devlop)

Really?I have no idea about the vibe. I know Cosmo racing sells it the same kit for either BASE/XR/VIBE. And another kit for the XRS/GT.I take it that installing the filter on a vibe is a major pain. No access to that area without taking off front bumper? Thanks for the update on the STB progression....

Re: Intake Box (GlenW)

I had my airbox apart yesterday for removal. The mass airflow sensor is black and held in from the top by two gold coloured screws. In my '03 there are some white plastic parts inside the airbox, but i didn't really pay much attention to them as I was ripping the airbox out to install a cold air intak...

Re: Installed Cosmo Racing CAI on my 4WD (Devlop)

It fits like the old Injen: install vibramount, lifting up the fusebox like an inch...etc.I didn't want to tie up like 210 plus shipping just in case I decide to get a supercharger down the road (wayyyyy down the road). So I went with this economical route.I will keep posted with my impressions as t...

Installed Cosmo Racing CAI on my 4WD (PICS)

Link to the Pics:http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=4289083403I will be doing a full review of performance improvements from this intake after I've had a bit more time to drive with it.The kit installs exactly like the Injen. It comes with all the necessary hardware with the exceptio...

Re: silverstars (silverawd26)

I was told at the performance shop i went to that Silverstars have a 90 day warranty and the piaa bulbs have 1 yr.As long as you dont handle the glass part of the silverstar bulb with your fingers, they should last just like any other bulb.Greasy fingerprints burn them out really fast.Just what I've...
