We have the base model, I don't think that I have it. How can I disable it?

So here is my issue...I noticed the other day, that if I am driving the Vibe too vigorously around a corner, it makes a beeping noise. Whenever I come out of the turn and am going straight, the noise goes away. I wonder if it is the sensor for the seat belt, saying that I am not buckled in, even tho...
