Scratches on lower two-tone molding

Post by Steve »

What is the best way to get scratches off of the lower clading/molding? The dealer wants to sand and spray matching paint. Won't garantee the finish. They are surface scratches.

Depending on how deep the scratches are, you may be able to use the following product to at least make the molding appear new and hide the scratches:quote:Black body and trim moldings should be dark, crisp and clean. If the moldings are in good condition, use Black Again to dissolve wax residues, protect and add depth of gloss. If the moldings are sun-faded, abused or neglected, use Forever Black to restore the trim’s black color. Black Again is a deep penetrating cleaner and surface dressing. Forever black is a permanent dye. quoted from thread: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=151
