110 volt outlet not working

Post by Houston »

Is there an easy way to check for seeing whether or not the connection on the back of the 110 volt outlet has become disconnected? The Owner's Manual indicates that both the cigarette lighter and this outlet go through the same fuse, but my lighter works and the outlet doesn't, so it can't be the fuse.

I hate to sound real obvious, but you do know there is a switch to turn on the power to the outlet, just above the gear shift to that left, right?

I'd forgotten all about that switch, DennisLee. Thanks a million!

Also, remember that the outlet only works when the engine is running ;).

I keep forgetting about that switch too. I plug in my phone charger and wonder why it doesn't charge. Duh, push the button!
