Final Vibe at 50000:
The final production Vibe off the assembly line on 08-17-2009, has reached 50000 miles on 12-10-12.
I had just replaced two of the original tires with Pirelli PZero Nero upgrade tires with 45000 warranty, and free Zaktek coating every 6-months and free 6-month alignments for 3-years. Final Vibe 2010 GT is doing great, still gets over 30-mph highway loaded, keeping it clean and happy.

Just found your original post today and read all the posts following it. Thanks for the updates, Dave. Like everyone else, it's nice to know that the final Vibe went to someone who is giving it a great home!
This story is pretty amazing. The last Vibe was sold off to do rental duty and then found and bought by Dave G, who appreciates the spot in history that this car occupies. Great to have updates on the car, too. Hope this Vibe lives long. Please no prosper jokes! Also hope that this post and it's pictures aren't lost. Would be nice to have the NUMMI story posts and this one set up so the pictures don't disappear as they sometimes do when members go away!
This American Life, a program on NPR, did a great story on NUMMI. It's interesting and would be great to hear reaction from NUMMI workers. You can stream the episode #403, NUMMI, from This American Life website. I just listened to it again, recently.

Sigh, no image links survive.....
Yeah, it's a shame too. My garage thread was LOADED with pics. And I had some how-to's as well.
Anything else I have to share will be through YouTube I suppose.
