Thank you for taking care of it.millster wrote:...it's taking a while but either I'll hopefully be joined with some help soon or I'll get through it eventually.
Yes, that was my concern. Thanks again for all your help!millster wrote:By all means please keep making the reports. It helped on a couple of posts today that might have been overlooked if not for the red highlighting the report tags them with. It also gives me a report I can look at to make sure I got everything removed that a member has noticed. It certainly doesn't make things harder or clutter anything up, if that's your concern.
Thanks for all your help today and thanks for your patience! I'll get a hold of Mike and see what we can do to get this resolved.
I'm hoping to have registration turned back on soon. it would figure that this massive wave of spam would come along when I'm getting slammed with work at my full-time job, so i can't focus on writing a solution to the spam issue.A Psycho Martyr wrote:They froze new member registration over on MO.
I suppose that's one temporary way of handling it
I agree.SeattleJeremy wrote:Maybe some more moderators are in order?
I'll throw my hat into the ring as a potential moderator as well.vibenvy wrote:I agree.SeattleJeremy wrote:Maybe some more moderators are in order?
I am more than willing to become a moderator as I typically check in here at least once a day...
I just reported a spam post. It is re-assuring to hear that reporting does not cause any further workload or anything for the mods. I will definitely continue to keep an eye out and report anything suspicious I see.
Huge thanks to millister, mkowdley and the rest of the mods for continuing to do an awesome job for us !
...but they didn't last long. Still just weeding out the last of the ones who registered on the 16th, thankfully. No new registrations except legit members.808 Vibes wrote:They're baaaaaaack....

Thanks for reporting the posts CP! I always click on "Report This Post" just to make sure and I was happy to see that they had all been reported already. Keep up the good work mods and GenVibers !ColonelPanic wrote:I was busy this morning myself, reporting that (removed)...
