Anyone from the San Diego area and would like to have a body kit made let me know. My brother just got done asking a company down there about making and selling kits and they said they want to put one on a vibe by them first and sponsor them to see if they will sell. Good company and my brother has ordered many of things from them. So if you would like to know more about it write back.

Ok sorry it has been a bit since I was on. The place is located in San Diego area. I have not seen the body kit yet for the vibe. My brother just got one for his cavalier from them and it looks and fits perfect. They do a good job and stand behind their work. They need someone in the area first to put one on and show it around for a bit and see what people think. I am trying right now to get them to send me a picture or a drawing of what it looks like. I should have more information on it soon. If you like you can IM me on AOL PhiDeltaTheta536. I should have more information very soon so stay tuned. And if it looks good and they like the response then we can probably have them start to make it more. My brothers kit for sideskirts and front and back was $800 shipped. Really good deal.

Would it be my friend Bob Smith at RK Sport (you mentioned your friend getting a Cavalier kit, and RK Sport came to mind!)???If so, I will see if I can get some images of the new kit for you (I've known Bob for over 20 years, and have been in the automotive after market for almost 30 years now). I might have better "pull" than you getting some images of this "new" kit, if they're serious about it!Steve

Well...I was waiting for PhiDelt to confirm who it was, but got tired of waiting!I contacted RK Sport, and they are indeed working on a gfx kit for the Vibe!It will be made of polyurethane, priced probably just under $1000 (if they are bumper cover replacments), and should be ready by SEMA (around the first of November--they plan to display their Vibe there). If you go to their website
http://www.rksport.com , and look on the right hand side, click on the "live cam" link to see them actually working on the kit tomorrow--(webcam is down today!).Or...click on "RK Project Vehicles", then click the "Vibe" box, and you should see this: The following are the modifications completed:Carbon fiber inlay ram air hood Front bumper cover Fender flares and lower rocker panels Rear roll pan Carbon fiber roof scoop Carbon fiber roof rails Carbon fiber engine dress up and trim pieces Baer brake performance upgrade Yokohama Performance tires Axis Wheels Eibach Lowering Package K&N Performance stainless steel exhaust system & tips Classic soft trim custom interiorActually, I was hoping for something a little more different than the factory kit, which this is real close to! Just my $0.02

looks very similar to the GM sport package. doesn't look like a full bumper replacement. but then it's just a mock up drawing.

*edited for your viewing pleasure* looks like it will be for sale AFTER the sema show in november! so we will all have to wait for these kits (edit) to come out for SEMA! looks like we may actually get a few choices! it's about time! of course, i'm out of the market now for one (go figure now that they really are coming out w/ a kit!) so maybe in a few years after i pay off my vibe. then.... oh ya! it's MOD time!!! the kit itself looks to GM factory but i do like that mock up drawing of the hood. don't care for carbon fiber, but i'd just get that puppy painted!

See the front fascia piece? its solid all the way across were as GM's is in two pieces. Its connected by that black solid piece much like the Matrix body kit.I'm not into the vents on the roof but heck thats looking good even if it is a drawing.

I too was waiting for PhiDelt to reply on this. I even tried to email him and never got a reply. Oh well, gues we'll just have to wait for something to come out. That concept kit looks OK, but I was hoping for something a little more aggressive. I wouldn't even mind seeing a nice wide-body kit, like a rally look. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what's in the works unless this PhiDelt ever gets back online.
