some how my neon light wont turn on again, cause i drove my car with the neon light on while rains pouring down. now i can't seem to turn it on, but the fuse is working right and while i was turning them on, i heard a noise like a steam, cause of water. so what you guys think? maybe i need to cut the wire and rewire them again right?

I'm asuming your neon is outside the car? When it rains here, only the front and left neon tubes on mine light, and depending on how hard it rains, the right one might light up half way. I dunno why this happens but it hasn't damaged anything and the lights work like new when the roads dry off. My neighbor across the street has a red underbody on his Dodge Dakota and I noticed one day his did the same thing as mine when it rained, so I just figured it was alright and wasn't gonna hurt anything.I re-wired mine and everything hte firs ttime it happened but it gets in through the tube somehow not at the conection...words of advice though, make sure the conections are real tight, one of my conections to the transformer wasn't tight and the wires must have sparked and burned right through the conection, a layer of electrical tape, a rubber tube cover, and three more layers of electrical tape. how loud was this steam noise?

Jus wait for the neons to cool down and dry off. They need to get rid of that moisture that built up in the tube.Inder Singh

It shouldn't be. Check how your stuff is wired up. You might have doubled wired something. That can heat something up fast.Inder Singh

What brand of neons did you get? Most of them are chained together, so if one doesn't work they all don't work.I've installed over 100 kits and seldom have problems. The neons on our durango have been on two durangos and over 4 years still going.Let me know what kit you have and I'll have more info.

I neve rreally checked to see if my transformer gets hot...I'm asuming it will get warm since electricity is flowing through it...I just don't know how warm.

Shouldn't get too warm. Definitely within the realm of touching it. Kinda luke-warm. If it's hot to the touch, I might be concerned. But..I don't know exactly. I don't have a big kit, just smaller tubes, so they don't require quite as much power.
