has anyone ever seen this guide?http://www.nadaguides.com/auto...=2001I thought KBB was the only one...

NADA is the main source for most ALL banks or financial institutions. i'd highly recommend using their info and values over KBB.and i'm speaking from someone who used to repo cars, resell them, and then also as a loan officer/personal banker. we only used NADA as does most of the dealerships i've ever worked with, both here in AK and WA, ID, and the pacific NW.

The NADA guide is primarily used by dealers in this area as well. Although, I would question some of NADA's listings.Another good pricing guide is http://www.edmunds.com. They analyze the market and use actual selling prices for their guides. So if a $20,000 MSRP car is only selling for $16,875 in your area, they tell you that. They also use regional data to give a more accurate value for your area.

They also use regional data to give a more accurate value for your area. the main reason NADA is the best way to go is because the banks and lending financial institutions use it. it doesn't do any good to get the market value if the bank says it's only worth $xx,xxx.xx
