05 vibe -----gm says no supercharger,,,

05 Vibe ... the GM Accessory Supercharger is not compatible with the 2005 model due to emission enhancements. The Platinum Sport Appearance Pkg. (PDG) and Spoiler Pkg. (PDE) will be on hold through September. PDG & PDE are not compatible since PDG includes PDE. The Cargo mat (NBJ) is being redeveloped to fit rear cargo area with the Moon & Tunes subwoofer, as the current mat does not fit properly. Two- tone Vibes will be available again with November production.maybe gm will work on a calbration or ecu for the 05but letting vibers know

They are taking away alot of the cool aspects of the Vibe with the 2005 models. I'm glad I got the 2004.

ya that does suck that they're taking away all the a/m parts for the 05. as if we don't have many parts now, they gotta keep taking away more!

Wanna know something funny? the 05 Vibe booklets are out and they feature the supercharger in the add on/accessory page.

My guess would be not that they took away the s/c, but it may need some "reworking" for the 05 MY...Just a hunch though...

My understanding is that because the 05s utilize a "drive by wire" throttle control, they (TRD) needs to make some changes in the set up. And who knows how long that will take.
