roof rack cross bars go bye bye

Post by Viben' round »

So this weekend I finally decided to remove the cros bars on my roof rack. Not exactly a difficult job to do. you just have to remember that you can always buy replacement parts if they brake. Luckily I was successful in not breaking anything. Just pull up on the back of the rear covers, remove the antenna, the two screws on the side rails and pull out the cross bars. Very simple and it realy does make the vibe look better.

They told me to pull as hard as I could even if it felt like it would break...and it ended up breaking (removed). I'm glad to hear yours came off safe and sound Get some pictures

Could you please post some pics of your bike mounted on the blockheads? I'm very interested in this.
