..... the Vibe is such a wonderful vehicle!!!!!for the past year I have been eyeing cars such as the Scion XA, Mini Cooper and even the New mazda hatchback but when all said is done I realize I really really love the Vibe.Oh I Love my Vibe..OK I know this is a dumb thread but MAN I am happy to be a Viber.. oh better yet a Genviber

I feel the same way! I'm just amazed at how much of a performer it is, how cool it looks, and how much stuff I can put into it. To me it is more useful than my s10 was. I had a ton of 8ft. molding pieces in it just the other day... they would have stuck out of the truck bed...but not the vibe's hatch.

Every time I need to stuff it full of stuff, my envy of other "true" sports cars dies . I LOVE my Vibe's versatility!

I hear ya too. I still love my Vibe for most of the reasons that others have already listed here. It comes in so handy for me so many times, I just can't bring myself to even think of giving it up! I like it so much that I'd rather bring home a sibling for it than replace it.

No, at least not until a bit after graduation, which is still a bit in the future for me. But I do love that new bodystyle on the '05 'stang. If I had to replace the Vibe with 2 new cars tomorrow, they would be the Mazda RX-8 and probably the '05 Mustang GT. Assuming that cost was not much of a factor also.I'm thinking of adding a '95 or '96 Celica GT convertible to my automotive lineup. Has to be an automatic and have the leather interior. I'd prefer a '98 or '99, but they are still too expensive. I'd like to get one to rip the motor out of it and possibly replace it with a Japanese-spec motor and add a turbo. Would become my play car while the Vibe would remain my practical car.

Still loving my Vibe and the more I do to it, the more I love it. And since I lowered my vibe and have been driving it around town, 3 ppl bought new Vibes this week haha! probably a coincidence (sp) but I don't care. I see other cars out there I would like to try, but I would never trade the Vibe for one.

I own a 2005 Vibe FWD and a 2002 Honda Civic SiR (hatch) and I love the Vibe, but it is NO match to my Civic.The tranny and shifter alone in the Civic is so much nicer then anything from Toyota/Pontiac....

I do indeed love my vibe very much and will never part with it. However, test driving the SRT-4 and the 2005 Altima 3.5 makes me want low end tq... (Altima 3.5 will be my next car after Vibe is done being paid off)

i love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything, I just wish I had more money to customize it:(

What makes the Civic setup so much nicer?I did try the Matrix XRS and Celica GTS and the shifter feel is the same as the FWD shifter but with 1 extra gear. Heck I don't think they have a different shifter at all except for the extra gear unless someone can correct me on that. The Honda shifting is so much smoother and nicer that only BMW's IMO are similar. It is hard to explain, but trust me that no other manufacturer comese close to Honda and BMW and that is a known fact in the automotive world. Now I'm sure some exotic cars have great shifters, but I'm talking about cars that are affordable to the avg person.Finally, don't get me wrong I love the Vibe/Matrix, I just think that my Civic SiR has a much better shifter... Also keep in mind that the Vibe/Matrix has some features that are better then the Honda... like the cargo space, gas mileage...

I've had mine for 17 months now and if it wasn't for the 3 kids, my wife would have one too by now. Of all the cars I've ever owned (66 Stang, 86 Escort GT which used to be my favorite, 93 T-Bird, 93 Altima, 99 Solara, 85 El Camino), it is the only car that has not disappointed me in some way. I recommend it to anyone who asks me.
