Hey I was just curious about how big it is and if would be considered a small, medium, or large turbo. Also I was just curious how high you could run the boost on a turbo that size

A lot would depend on the rest of your car. If you don't have the proper internals (BOV, Wastegate, large enough I/C) you'd run a high risk of burning up your engine/turbo.

Already know that and I intend on getting new engine parts (the IC and BoV should come with the turbo kit). So I wanted to know what the max was based on the turbo not how much the engine can handle

The smaller turbos are not as efficient as the larger ones as they make hotter air by spinning faster. A larger turbo does not have to work as hard to make the saime Psi./cfm....I like the t3 i have

I'd recommend using a garret 14b (TDO5H), unlike the t-25 the 14b will be able to push more boost then 15psi, and for a blow off valve just goto a local junk yard and rip one off of a 89-94 Mistubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, or Plymoth Laser. Basically if you can find an 89-94 DSM you could get ahold of a turbo, intercooler, (Sidemount) and BOV. Not too expensive either. I hope this works for you.

Gonna let the guys at MWR do it next summer they'll probably use a T4 because its alot more effecient at 20+ psi and will probably install a front mounted intercooler, not sure what kinda of BOV they'll use. Hehe gonna be an interesting drive back up from Cali once its installed They said it's going to cost approximately $10,000

You're gonna drive all the way to michigan to get a custom turbo made and installed? Are you getting more than just the turbo done? $10,000 seems like a lot of money for just a kit.

Oh yeah its more than that, new fuel pump, injectors, sparkies, cyclinder sleeves (which requires machining the engine block), oil pump, new valve springs, new pistons, rods, etc (full engine makeover) for 10k

Wow. Yeah, I just noticed that you have a GT. That's gonna be a sweet motor when your done. Its too bad I'm moving to AZ soon, I'd love to check it out when its done. I only live about twenty minutes from MWR.
