Hi everybody;i bought a base, 5 speed vibe a couple of month ago and i luv it. i already changed the rims to a nice set of 17" gunmetal core racing, a strut bar and an anti swaying bar. What i really want, is an S/C. Here in Whitehorse, Yukon we have one Dealer and he quoted me Can. 5500.00 without installation. Guess what he can do with he' S/C.exactly. I'm a bit confused. As i understand the Toyota S/C comes with a preprogramed ECU for maximum performance. The Gm S/C does not have a ECU, that has to be ordered separately to make the S/C perform at top performance and has to be tuned afterwards. Is this correct? Help and Thanks.

If you buy the SC kit from GM everything is included in the kit just installand go. There is a better way to get a SC but will you be installing or will you let the dealer do it? If you are going to do it or let a shop do it for you (since the dealer will charge you an arm and a leg) then look at this option.

i guess they can charge whatever they want up there in the great white north.but yeah the gm one comes with everything.so if you got the cash go for it.and it comes with instructions.and it is preprogramed you shouldnt need tuning.

Inder. What place offered 2990? I'm looking @ prices right now. I'm not a big DIY guy. I'd rather have the warranty too.

I got quoted for $2995 USD. I dunno if that was installed or not...a supercharger can't be all that hard to install, especially with instructions. The hardest part would be the belts.
