I'm new as of yesterday and I'm sure you all know the answers to my questions. What is the best strut tower brace and exhaust for the base vibe. Also on the CAIs do they have all the factory electronic hook ups? (sensors). Thanks!

welcome to genvibe! let me direct you to the wonderful feature known as SEARCH. there are SEVERAL (and i mean many) threads addressing all of those items you are asking about. i'd recommend searching the site for info or even just looking in the appropriate forums. with most newbies, they tend to ask the same questions... especially regarding those 3 things. welcome and i hope you will find all the info you are looking for!

Most strut tower braces are the same and are mostly for looks on the Vibe. The fire wall (the metal wall seperating the cabin from the engine compartment) is so close to the strut towers that it acts as a strut bar itself. So any strut bar you think looks good will work (as long as it's not over priced for what it does). In terms of exhaust this just depends what you want and how much you are willing to spend. If you want a the cheapest and and best for direct installation without additional modification of the exhaust then get the Magnaflow exhaust. If you want to spend a bit more for larger exhaust piping go with the Borla or GReddy.CAI's don't really have anything electronic on the tube itself but there is a crucial electrical component (the Mass Air Flow sensor or MAF) that you screw onto a prefabricated slot for it. Other than that all you need to do is attach the correct vacuum tubes and attach the intake to the throttle body (intake part of the engine) and put on the filter and bolt it to the chassis in one spot.Just in case you don't want to read throught the huge multitude of posts on all that (Mine's more condensed )

Also their is more gains in HP on the Magnaflow. The sound is about the same.
