The front grills on the Grand Am look exactly like the 03-04 Vibe front.

My guess is that they still want to keep in fuel efficient and an LEV. It would be nice if they could wedge a Toyota V6 under the hood.

i wonder, since they all have catbacks, will they all be louder than the average car is stock?

I would think so. My old Z34 had dual exhaust (kinda) it split before the mufflers) and it was pretty darn loud to begin with, I put a cat-back on it splitting the pipes directly out of the cat and it made it MUCH louder, of course I also had resonator tips on it too.I need to dig up pics of the beast. It was a really nice car until one of the pully's shot through the radiator on the parkway, I wasn't going to dump over 2 grand to fix all the damage caused by the blowout. It seemed like everything went wrong at once.

just more teasers from GM that won't ever be attainable! like those projector headlamps on the autocross vibe!

Most of those look photoshopped. And poor at that. Maybe some better photos will be released soon. Does this mean the GXP series will be dumped? I'm much more excited about the GXP Vibe than the plastic looking autocross....just my opinion. I'm really sick companies doing the "boy racer" crap. Just make it clean and aggressive, like the VW R32.

http://gallery.genvibe.com/gal...F0042h ... 3SEMAVibeI had some digital camera issues so I lost a few of the other models, but I will say that the Autocross series looks pretty good in person and the customized paint jobs are remarkable! Beats the crappy looking press photos above.Quote »Does this mean the GXP series will be dumped? I'm much more excited about the GXP Vibe than the plastic looking autocross....just my opinion. I don't think so, the Autocross is way more out there in terms of actually being produced. The GXP line is more reasonable and will HOPEFULLY be released, at least for the Vibe.

sorry, but i don't see rice anywhere on that autocross vibe. and seeing it in person, wow! it's very very nice! the GT-R is rice, but the autocross? no, i just don't see it. but hopefully they will not drop the GXP line. i think these are just show cars only. dangle the carrot in front of your nose, but you can never get it! LOL

those pics are chopped, you can see the feather marks around the back of the vibe. they probably just cut them out and put them in a b&w background though...

I'm kinda disappointed the VIbe has the least amount of HP than any of the other models. Wonder if its because they don't want to promote the Toyota engine.

Can you imagine if Pontiac actually released these cars? Pontiac would be on top of tuner cars!

I like the rims on the Grand Prix. I am not sure if it is the bad photoshopping job or what, but I am just not impressed with the overall look of the cars. Of course the Vibe looks awesome, but the rest are just ho-hum. Besides the Vibe, the Grand Prix in my opinion looks the best. It would have been nice if they would have showed a different view of the GTO.

I know everyone's biased, and would love to see a 300 hp base vibe, but it's not going to happen from the OEM, that just screams duribility issues.

I think 240 HP is nowhere near the limits of the motor. I would think/read that 300 HP should not be a problem on the Ecotec. I figured this would be dumped in the Vibe eventually. HHMMM....we'll see.

I'm almost positive a sunfire could smoke a base vibe. I vaguely recall my sunfire having somewhere around 140 horses...

Bleh, they can shove their autocrosses for all I care. It's not like GM will ever make any of these models, kits, or performance parts (aside from the SC) available to us CUSTOMERS. GM needs to take lessons from Dodge and Mopar!
