hey if they all start buzzing around would it make the car go faster? You must leave your car sitting for a few days at a time to give them the time to make that.

I have no idea how this thing got in there. My wife takes the car out at least once a day, but usually parks it in the same outdoor location. We recently took the vibe on a 2000-mile road trip (33.9 MPG on the base auto), but I think the nest is older than that.As far as I can tell, there are no eggs in the nest, but I will be removing it shortly anyway.

Ahhh! This reminds me of an orb-spinner spider that lived/hid in my old Corrado for sometime. I could never find the (removed), but almost every night he'd spin a stupid web in my car, sometimes inside and out Man, I must have killed one of his relatives or something...he just didn't like me .

I don't know if its the honeycomb grill or what, but i guess insects seem to like the vibe as much as we do.Since day 1, i periodically find some sort of what i guess is a larvae. I find it in the door hinge too, but also in all the door cracks/hinges. The best way to describe them is that they look like grains of rice, stuck to the car. ( real ricer car, for sure! hehehe....sorry, bad joke)I dunno, they could be spider turds for all I know! Any one else have these?

How long has it been spinning webs in yours? I don't think a bug bomb would be wise, since it would get all over and into everything, including the electronics, fabric, etc.Maybe you can bait it by stringing one of cvd6262's bees from your dome light

Err, years ago I cleaned out my car and found a dead bat under the front seat. We always had bats at home and I often left my windows down all the time (rural )....
