has anyone been able to get a hood deflector for an '04 vibe in the toronto area. I went to my local dealer and they were unable to find a part number and said it didn't exist but i've seen vibe's driving down the road with them on. Anyone got a gm part number or another place i can find them please let me know!

I beleive they are no longer available from GM, a problem with the supplier. There are many nice aftermarket ones available though. I have a Formfit which I paid about $70.00 Can. for in Gatineau near Ottawa.

Yeah, GM doesn't have a supplier anymore and last time I tried to get one for a customer it took me 4 weeks. Eventually I placed the order for two, one from one place and one from the other one I had tried to order from earlier, only one ever showed up.Have you looked into Vent Visor? Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire are a pretty big supplier of that brand...

Bought one through my dealer @ Unionville in Markham. They ordered it in from somewhere. It was brand new and fit the vibe perfectly. I think it cost me $95+tax. Check out my cardomain site for some pics.

Try http://www.carbras.com. They have a "perfect fit" one that looks sweet. That is what I have on my car.

Thanks for posting that link, Reynoma. Just ordered myself a hood deflector a few minutes ago. I'm driving up to the Michigan U.P. next month, so it'll come in handy

Roads in the UP aren't as bad. There are a LOT of bugs this time of year though.

Gotta love it when your car is all clean and you head down the highway and SPLAT, here comes the juicy ones. I doubt even a bug deflector can help against those.

i like to leave those on the windshield for the remainder of my trip...as a warning to all other bugs.also do that with one mosquito inside the car...let it sit there, squashed, as a warning to all other mosquitos that dare enter my car!
