I gotta sun roof put in my car and when i got it back my foot rest was broke. I've got 2 questions from here. 1. why did they have to mess with the foot rest for a sun roof? 2. can i replace the foot rest, i saw TRD vibe had a red and yellow one, but i'm trying to stick with my blue/white/black color schemeany help would be great right about now

She bought Momo ones I think... cover her clutch, brake and gas alsoand I would find it very hard to believe that they needed to "break" that to put a sun roof in... thats very odd.

That sucks! I'm sure somebody can at least get you the P/N for the footrest. On another note, what kind of sunroof did you get? Is it motorized? Does it leak? Do you like it so far?

i doubt they broke it intentionally, they ran the power for the sunroof under the drivers foot rest. because of that the platic foot rest wont go back on properly. probably just got fustrated with it and gave up after a while. it's not the whole thing thats broke, just the plastic square part that hold it on. btw: mavrik, thanx for the sarcasim really appreciate that

the sun roof is great, i washed my car today to see if it leaked, so far so good. then again i've only had it for 2 days. It was kind of interesting how they installed it, they lowered the interior roof, giving the sunroof enough space to be retracted IN the roof, looks really nice. It's all motorized and the switch is separate from the rest of the unit, i'll try and post some pictures of it later this week(can't find my digi camera) it's amazing so far

I see a lot of repairs were moldings are removed at the dealership I work and and if one gets "broken" we never hand the car back that way. We replace it and you'd never know we had it off. If they broke it, they should have never returned it to you in that condition because I am sure you never left it in their care in that condition. makes sense to me.
