New VibeGT Owner, Edmonton AB

Hey there people! Just bought a 2003 Vibe GT yesterday, decided to join the forums. I don't actually get to receive the car till next month, as it's getting recertified. But I plan on doing a few little things to the car. (Wheels/Tires, Intake, Exhaust, suspension, ect) Anyways, glad i found this place. Anyone here do Vibe/Matrix meets like in calgary?

i know some of them have been talking about it. would be good to do a meet in edmonton too.

Yes, right now all the meets have been in Calgary, but there are a few members who are in Edmonton, so maybe you guys could get something going. Or, we are planning a big(ger) meet in August in Calgary...We do alot of our meet planning on

Congratulations on your purchase. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun.If you see an 03 Neptune GT with BC plates during the next two weeks, that would be me as I'm visiting Edmonton right now.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome, les paul.....a fellow guitar player im guessing? Good to some people still playing. I agree, havent seen many GT's, seen an awesome looking orange one, but I've never seen one around here with mods or anything. I'll have to get on that !

...I've been playing for 3-4 years now. I've got a Cosmo CAI, I want an exhaust. Rims will come later. If you ever see a tinted out Lava 2-tone GT, Usually on the southside..its probably me.

Yea I just got a quote for my rims/tires, $1700CAD shipped to my work (OUCH!) so I may wait just a bit longer. I live on the southside, chances are I've seen ya.

Hey.. I just got a 2003 Vibe GT yesterday too! So far, so good.. I don't know alot about tricking out cars, but would like to spruce up the exterior look.. maybe a vinyl.. do you know where/how?Enjoy your vibe!

Hey BlackVGT! I noticed your car and was kinda' stumped...I had the exact same set of Falken Torque 5's on my Mono-Tone Black '03 GT this past summer! Talk about coincidence!!One diff... Mine were 19's - Tad bigger...I no longer have them though - I wanted to up-grade to some spiffy Enkei's... Still waiting to find the perfect set!Just thought I would let you know - YOU HAVE GOOD TASTE! HA!
