ya, i thought that mista was gonna post something there? i didn't post it on there because i thought he had or was going to do that? i try and stay out of there since it's all guys and you like to gawk at the models and crap. LOL. hmmm... wonder who'd do that???

what about the theme park? that'd be fun to go to all day. get there somewhat earlier in the day so we can hopefully park together. then go inside and go on all the rides! wheee!

I hope the the park is still open cause Hope you and I got free pass back in there haha.That would be a great place to hold a meet, Canada's Wonderland.

i would think it'd still be open. over labor day weekend? even here, most places are open thru the end of sept/beginning of oct.

http://www.canadas-wonderland.com/ it says the park is open that weekend from 10 am - 10 pm. if we get there early enough, we can probably all part close by or next to one another! and it looks like you get better prices if you buy your ticket online than at the door.

ya, i didn't realize your guy's labor day was the same as ours! when i was there over 4th of july wkend, we went on monday the 5th and no one was there. it was really nice. oh well... you have a good point. and we've been to dave & busters in mi. was a good time.

That sounds like a plan there Phil, I like that, meet up in the evening, hang around and have a good time, then go to D&B which was a lot of fun in MI. Should we make reservations for a table?

Well it says the meet is on the Saturday of Labour day weekend - thats the 4th.

Mavrik, thx for posting the heads up for this meet over on matrixowners. We'll work on a good location in Mississauga that's open and will accomodate us all.

No prob Mista, I wanted to gauge some interest since this is only about a month away.

so any ideas then for locations? not too far away!

well I'll see if anyone has suggestions at the MO Kitchener meet in Aug if nothing gets mentioned before then.

Well when MO is back up and running I'll see if a location can be decided on. They know the area better then I do.

I suggested (on mo.com) that we just meet up at Krispy Kreme in Mississauga. To hell w/ the security there.

How about a less crowded locale? Any nice parks around or something?

i asked over on MO too. if anyone knew of a park so we don't have to deal w/ cops or crowds...

Yeah jeff you better be coming since carrie is Thought you guys got kicked out of Krispy cause someone (we won't name) was doing certain cop attracting things? I don't think this meet will be wild eh?People are suggesting we have it somewhere in the middle... well some people have to drive all the way back to london that night? Middle for them would be like kitchener or something lol.

As that's mainly me I'll add that I'm not too picky - night driving is no biggie for me, and if we're planning on going out for food/drinks I might just get a hotel somewhere anyway....I'm good for anwhere between T.O. and Windsor

glad to see you will be coming! i know that vibechick is planning on it for sure now. not positive if devlop's coming, but most likely. i think nick said he was coming too. but will probably post more info after the Ohio meet he's working on. some of the matrix guys are also planning to attend, so i think it'll be a good turn out. should be a lot of fun! i know i'm really excited about this trip!

well i hope those guys pick a place. it's about a month away and some people want to get hotels soon. especially since we're gonna have some out of towners needing sleep arrangements. i told raging that missauga is a good bet or anywhere near the airport side of toronto. i hope that's right.

Well the airport is easy to get to and very close to the 401 which is access to anywhere pretty much.

Well, I have a wedding to attend, but depending on time and place, I may pop by for a quick hello.

what time is the wedding? the pre meet will be about 5:30 for dinner, then the meet at 7pm and then prob 8:30-9pm head to D&B's for fun. so.... maybe you could meet us up there?

well, i think the main problem is we still need to find a LOCATION for the meet!!! i mean if all else fails, krispy cream it is. or even getting together some place for food before hand since it's a late meet. dredd, since you are from the area, what do you suggest for approx 12-15 cars? they got an applebees or something nearby?

Okay, since there has been no suggestions, I am going to throw out some ideas. If any of you work at any of these places or any place else with a big parking lot, it would be great if you can help make arrangements with the security folks so that we won't get kicked out of the parking lot. I don't know Mississauga very well, so if any of you know of a good place, please suggest it.*Sherway Gardens or parking lots of other stores in that area such as Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. (Etobicoke)*Woodbine Centre. If we get kicked out we can try to go to the racetrack parking across the street. (This may be in Mississauga, I'm not sure.)*Bayview Village. It's a nice mall. I can go shopping there before showing up. (North York)*Kennedy Commons (Scarborough). There's a Chapters there.*Fairview Mall (North York)*Eglinton Town Centre (Scarborough). There's lot of restaurants.*Parking lot by the Colossus. It is close to Dave and Buster's. (Woodbridge?).*Parking lot by Silvercity Richmond Hill (or any other Silvercity).*Krispy Kreme Richmond Hill. Have people been kicked out of there yet?*AMC Whitby/Oshawa (That's where the J-bodies meet.)*Square One (This is one of the few places that I know is in Mississauga.)*A GM parking lot in Oshawa (We shouldn't have any problems getting kicked out.)
