Anyone seen this on Ebay? It looks the same as any of the other CAI's except it has a foam filter. About the same price as the Cosmo too. What do you think?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...38634

Cheap foam filters can either filter poorly and/or break up over time and get sucked in. Good ones aren't bad at all but how do you know here.

I almost bought it. I'd rather buy something has somewhat of a review from the boards though. But, that's jus me though. I don't wanna go for somethin that will last me 10 days and break up. Usually when you get an intake with a foam filter, it's supposed to come with a heatshield. The only company that I know of that makes foam filters is Weapon-R. And trust me, Weapon-R is garbage. I have it right now. Worst 30 bucks I spent ever! But also replaced the foam filter with a cone filter.Inder Singh

If you want an inexpensive CAI go with a Cosmo Racing. Nobody has had a problem and I love mine.

Aside from the filter, it looks like an exact copy of the Injen CAI.

Doesn't a K & N cone filter cost maybe $30? Buying one to replace the foam job would really cut in to the savings...
