No, if you look in front of the driver side wheel underneath, you will see to screws, remove these and you should be able to get your hands in there to get the thing attached.

Did you install your intake? Or are you still stuck?

what year do you have again? the 04+ GT's are very different. also, i would ask DJdoubleLP or sWirv since they installed his injen cai on his 04. there is a smog pump you have to deal with that wasn't there on the 03 gt's. otherwise, it's pretty simple.

Well, I have an '03 base, and the bolts are underneath the front bumper. There is one just in front of the wheel (both bolt heads are pointing at the ground) and the other is under the corner of the bumper

when you get the intake installed, let the car idle for about 10 mins to allow the mass air flow sensor to relearn the air ratio coming the intake. You can cause the engine light to come on if you rev the engine before the system learns.

with the smog pump, i'd ask your question in the alberta forum. i know DJ and Swirv frequent that. and ask for smog pump intake help. they should be able to help you out. i've not even seen the smog pump, so i couldn't help you there. sorry.

No I haven't got a chance to put it in, the weather on the east coast has been crappy all week. I'm going to install it on Wednesday ( the weather is supposed to be nicer).
