A co-worker of mine just bought a 2004 Vibe AWD, Salsa, monotone with power package. Sticker at $21,500, out the door at $18.5K.Of course he asked about mine before his purchase. Of all the vehicles made in their price range, the Vibe was the only one that both he and his wife could agree on getting.So far he hasn't got to drive the new Vibe to work, his wife keeps driving it! She did warn him while leaving the dealership. She told him to drive it home, because it may be a long time before he gets to drive it again! (She is really pleased with the Vibe!)

I have a similar situation. When I bought my Vibe last November, no one at work had one. There was one Matrix but no Vibes. Now there are three Vibes plus mine in the lot including a new 2005. My coworker was just joking about this with me today, about how I started a Vibe trend at work. LOL!

I thought I was going to have something unique out there in the ol' workstead's parking lot... Nope.January 2003, I parked my nice new Neptune out in the lot, only to find a shadow AWD already there. Still don't know how drives it. But I continue to show him up, since my car's always prettier. Don't think he ever washes his. lol

I'm still the only one driving a Vibe at work... none of the sales guys will even demo one.

i have the only vibe in the parking lot. but there is a solar trix there someone has... still, no mods and plain jane.

I also have the only Vibe at work. Then again I work from home . The dealership here has sold quite a few of them. Probably about 6 for here and the surrounding communities. Which is pretty good for as few people live here. I have the only GT though.

I too started a trend like that. After I got my Vibe, one Matrix showed up. Then a Frosty Vibe, another Neptune Vibe, a Satellite Vibe and a Fusion Vibe that someone down the hall bought from my dealer. The cool part was that I got $50 for the referal for the last one. All the Vibes here are base and the Matrix isn't even an XR. On top of that, none of them look as cool as mine!

I have the coolest Vibe at my work. I'm the only one...lol

Well, I'm one of the followers. I've always liked the vibe, but my boss bought a Matrix (plain jane model). I rode in it a few times, and enjoyed it a lot. I bought my vibe for same price as hers, but with way more options, window tinting, hood protector, and a bunch of other toys. So out of the 10 cars at work, 1 vibe, 1 matrix. At least mine is the better looking auto.

This happened to me at school. Mine was the only vibe for about a year, then this girl asked me about mine. A week later she had one. Same thing happened at work. Guess I'm a leader and not a follower on this one.

well, part of the reason i chose my vibe was because no one else i knew personally or at work had it. i don't like having a car everyone else has. so, i wouldn't say i'm a leader, but an individualist... and i like it that way. i will be pissed if/when someone else at work gets one!

what if I get a job there?

that would be the exception. i would just deal with it... but then maybe i'll get something else. ya right. gotta save up for a house next!

A gal who i work with has a 03 base, she loves it!

I've had three people ask me how I like my Vibe at work, and all three at the time were shopping for vehicles. Only one has purchased one, and if she could have found an '04 Vibe like she wanted, she would have bought it. Instead, she ended up with a Fort. She doesn't like the '05 any more than I do.

Numero Uno Vibe owner at my work, and the only one i ever see in the parking lot either (walmart).

All right, well, I'm going to have to put this to the test! I've wanted a Vibe for quite some time now--finally got mine yesterday so it's less than 24 hours old for me. Most people here where I work don't even know what a Vibe is, so I have to show them a picture. There is one Matrix here, but I'm the only Vibe. So we'll have to see how long it takes before I see another one in the parking lot!

same for me,i"m the only one who have a vibe at my work.before was a another vibe in another shift,but he quit the job.here,the majority of people are ignorent in cars,speciality one day,a dump (removed) ask me if my car are a kia and few week ago a track driver stop on the road to ask some question on my vibe,he say that he will bye one.on my work parking lot lot" of people have a eye on my car.
