You probably wouldn't need the 120v for the LCD...most LCD's i've seen are set up for 12v anyway. If not..they still use DC, so it might be easier to just get a DC - DC converter instead of using AC - DC..As for doing it, you probably can. I've yet to be able to seperate the AC module in the dash from the rest of the dash piece, though..

120 would be for the xbox, the inverter would be fine for the xbox (which is going under the front pessenger seat) but not all that great for the LCD seeing as how the glovebox is rather far away. I'll have to take apart my dashboard sometime to figure out how to do the wiring if I am indeed going to try and use the coords from the outlet. Maybe what I could do it reroute it to a mini splitter (3 or 4 plugs) which I could attach to the back of the glovebox. So whenever I needed to use the outlet for something other than the LCD and xbox I could just reach back and plug it in.I'll take some pictures maybe next week and draw some lines and circles in photoshop so you kind of get what I'm talking about

Nah, there's very little slack in those power lines...You could remove the outlet from the dash and hide it behind the climate controls, but not much more play than that.

what about getting more wire and attaching it to the old wire as an extension?
