Hey guys/gals...my name's Dave, I am a moderator at dodgegallery.com, I have a 2001 Stratus R/T. The reason I've signed up on you board is to help out my boss. He has a 2003 Vibe. I have been looking aroung for aftermarket parts(intake, exhaust, body kit) for his car, but have been fairly unsuccesful. I found the Eibach pro kit for the VIbe, but that's about it. Now is the Toyota Matrix the same car? could I look up parts for the matrix to fit the Vibe? So if you could give me some information, or sites that would be great. Thanks in advance...-Dave

There currently isn't any body kits for the Vibe except for the factory Pontiac Kit. There is a company in CA that might do a body kit coming up soon. The Vibe and the Matrix are the same vehicle except for the body so you cannot get a Matrix body kit or tail lights or anything with the body. You can find some products for the Vibe here http://www.Ptuning.com you can find coild air intakes, exhausts and other things. Hope this helps

Thanks. So the engine bolt ons are interchangeable? I could order an injen CAI for the Matrix, and it would fit on the Vibe?

It'll fit for the most part, but the Matrix has a different headlight design that the Vibe. The Vibe's headlight sticks back towards the battery a bit more, which makes it a tad difficult to get the piping down into the lower body. It can be done. I believe the majority of Injen owners here are running the Matrix intake. But there is a Vibe-specific intake out there by Injen that has been slightly adjusted to eliminate the headlight problem. You can order it from ptuning.com...

Actually I have a Corolla 03 intake in my car and it runs well. For engine parts the Matrix and the Corolla to a certain extent share the same parts, just gotta double check.

Wow you guys are good! I appreciate all the info. I will pass it along to my boss, and maybe you'll get another new member. I don't know what he plans on doing, but when he saw what I did to my car he became interested in options for his. Thanks again guys.-DavePS-- I've been on quite a few boards, and I think you guys have been the most welcoming and willing to help...thanks
