has anyone heard or tried to add a trany oil cooler to the GT? I added and aftermarket one to my GTP and the trany ran 100% better.

There are a couple of threads here about tranny coolers, but they are for auto trannies. I don't think anyone has posted anything about adding a tranny cooler to a manual like the 6 speed the GT has.

That oil cooler is for an auto trans; the GT only has a manual trans. There is no manual transmission oil cooler that I know of.

How about an oil cooler for your engine? It would keep the heat down in your oil. My 77 Porsche had a factory cooler. I installed one on my 79 Scirocco because it was highly modified.

He took it for an oil change and that sucker took 16 quarts of oil!

Wouldnt you have to add a pump to move the oil for a manual tranny? If you add an oil cooler for the engine, might be a good idea to incorporate some kind of thermstatically controlled valve, other wise your engine would never "warm" up on coooold winter drives-or would it? Of course you in CA and down South wouldnt have that trouble, lol!
