Mod chip - the cheap one on E-Bay

There is a very inexpensive mod chip on E-bay that "piggy backs" between the ECU and sensor, claiming to give up to 20 hp. It tricks the ECU into thinking there is a heavier load and therfore increases engine power.Lots of good feedback about it on E-bay, saying it really works and its easy to install. Its only like, 10 bucks. Im trying to save my $$$ for some exterior mods so if anyone out there can confirm this thing works, I'll drop a measly 10 bucks for it.

rip off....won't do a thing.Even if it did, our ECU's are too smart for their own good! it'd reset to normal or safe settings.

If you want to try it, go to radio-shack or some other electronics store and buy a 10K Ohm resistor. It will probably cost less than a dollar and I'm sure someone here can tell you what pins it goes on. I've seen some people use potentiometers instead of a resister so they can adjust it.

I wouldnt even know where to begin installing this Radio Shack resistor. The one on E-bay gives you instructions on how to install it. If it works, ( and the ECU wont reset itself ), I'll order the one through E-bay.

LOL... hey, i've got some beach front property for sale in arizona too! sell it to you for a good buy! don't waste your money! there's a lot of R&D that goes into these chips... that's why they aren't cheap. but hey, you're just putting $10 into this guys pocket... he just sells them in mass volume. imagine if 10 give you $10 for one of these worthless chips? hey, only $10 right? but he makes $100 for something that doesn't do anything.... it's just a scam. hey! maybe I should start selling these chips on ebay too! but for $5! right??? then i can sell 10 or 100 of them and make some extra money by ripping people off!
