I don't know if anyone here uses WinAmp as a media player, but I gotta tell you. I just downloaded the newest one and it is awesome!! Since I have broadband, I can listen to the internet radio channels with no probs. If you get a chance, download the new version http://www.winamp.com and check out the 80's NOW DOT COM channel. (If you like 80's music) It's a mix of all genre's of music. They also have a ska channel which is kinda nice at times.

Are you referring to Winamp 5? Ya, it rules. So many cool features! I was broadcasting my own radio show for awhile threw it, but it got kinda old, so I stopped.

i have an itunes radio tuner and i get all kinds of stations! 9412.com plays requests and has live dj's! (it's a classic rock station)the dj in the morning is some annoying lady, but she'll play anything you wanna hear (if it's from mid '60s-'93)

I've been using the iTunes radio also, but since I use Windows 98 at work I can't use that here. So I downloaded the new Winamp, but I don't see the radio tuner. Is that only in the XP version?

No, if you go to view there should be a part of winamp you can view that has all the options of media. I don't have it at work right now, so I can't tell you exactly.

I used to listen to IndiePopRocks! quite a bit through winamp. Sense I 've been dl'ing music lately, I haven't been into the internet radio scene lately. It's a great option, though. Especially for the broadband folks!

I hate Quark period. But that aside...Winamp5 is pretty cool. For a period of time, RedvsBlue.com had a stream of their first season of RedvsBlue, which is a parody of Halo, pretty funny! The Internet TV broadcasts are awesome too, but they need to do a little bit better with their general video decoding..Still, it keeps getting better! Which is surprising considering AOL bought it out...
