Anyone remove their rotors?

Hello everyone, This weekend I painted my calipers and wanted to remove all that rust off the rotors. But after 2 hours of trying get the front rotors off I gave up. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Yes I did remove the Disc brake cylinder and the front disc brake cylinder mounting bracket. I tried a rubber hammer and still it didn't budge. Is there a screw from behind holding down the rotor? Will this also be an issue for the rear rotors? Please help!

* Remove tire and wheel assembly.* Support the brake caliper with heavy mechanic's wire or equivalent, whenever it is separated from it's mount and the brake line is still connected. Failure to do so will result in the brake line carrying the weight of the rotor, whcih can damage or destroy the brake line, resulting in a fluid leak.* Remove the brake caliper and caliper mount bracket as an assembly from the suspension knucle and support the assembly with heavy mechanic's wire or equivalent. Ensure there is no tension or weight on the brake line hose. * Remove the disc brake hardware and pads, * Remove the 2 bolts. * Remove the bracket.* Use paint in order to park the position of the rotor to the hub.* Remove the rotor.

take 2 bolts and put them in the 2 holes on the hub area surface, tighten the bolts going from one to the other and the rotor should come off, before installing, put some anti-seize on the hub, then install the rotor and rest of the hardware.
