Floor Mat Hooks

Silly question, but I'll ask anyways. I broke one of the clips that hold the driver side floor mat in place. Does anyone know if they have replacement parts for those? I know its kinda cheesy to worry about it but I like to keep it looking as new as possible....Apparently the all weather floor mats are a little tougher on the clips than the carpet stock mats. Thanks!

I believe this is the part you're looking for...FLOOR94858267, Carpet Retainer, Trans Tunnel ($0.96)Thanks to Mike's wonderful parts list. ( http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=9923 )And don't worry, we understand! I already need to replace my floormats, my toe-heel driving style has already worn a hole in mine!

That is the black plastic push-in retainer clip that holds the carpet up against the transmission.I don't have the part number for those hooks offhand...I'll see what I can find.As to the all-weather mats, not sure what ones you have, but my OEM all season mats don't even have holes for the hooks. I just pulled the hooks out because they were in the way.

$21.00! Is that US or Canadian???I just want plain hooks, not the platinum-plated designer set autographed by the guy who pulled them out of the mold!Getting screwed without getting kissed. There's a name for that...

21 bucks for 2 pieces of plastic. I would say "SCREW THAT" and deal with not having the hooks. Check junkyards if you can find a wrecked up Vibe in one. It is a long shot but you will probably only pay a buck or 2.

If anyone needs these hooks, I'll sell you my old ones for $5 shipped (mainly to cover packaging and postage).Like I said in prior posts, my all-weather mats have no holes for the hooks, so I yanked them...

I just bought dark gray small bath-kitchen rubber backed type mats at WalMart to use in the winter to keep salt and grease off the mats. I'm (removed) I guess and just like keeping the original mats nice!jeff
