I bought a magnetic car bar from some Bozo at http://www.magneticcarbra.com and I have to tell you this is the biggest piece of sh-t I've ever bought! First off this is nothing more than a piece of cheap magnetic strip, like they make magnetic signs from. He has the audacity to charge $50 for this strip. Gives you a piece of weatherstripping he calls a gasket (which buy the way is not even long enough to hold the whole bra). He states that the magnetic bra wil not damage the paint - WRONG!!!Moisture will get trapped under the bra and will permanently damage the paint - FYINot to mention you could probably buy this strip from any sign store for only a couple of dollars. If you're thinking of getting one - DON'T! and if you have one beware of this product and what it does to your paint, not to mention how cheap it is for what he charges.

We have those magnetic signs on all our work trucks and yes, they damage the paint undernieth. If you clean and wax the areas under them at least twice a year, it doesn't really damage the finish. The big problem we have with them is that they can get very hot in the summer sun and actually melt onto the vehicle's surface, making them very hard to remove. Believe me, I am the one who usually has to remove them.

i agree... i had a magnetic red wings logo on my truck a few years ago, and i had it on for a few months, and when i took it off, you could see where it was, even after wash & wax. i think it maybe pulled the metal flake in my paint or something. it just never looked right in that spot after that.

I wasn't really all that pleased with mine either. Used it one day without the big rubber thing to hold the bra on and it blew off and went right over the top of the car and onto the highway and broke as it was a pretty cold day. I know that was my fault and the not the bra's. Made the mistake of getting a replacement one but it never really fit the way I would like. You know what they say a sucker is born every minute. Guess I have good company. I ended up buying the GM bra and like it alot better.
