As much as I hate them I am afraid that I will end up putting them on my Vibe. I know the ones Pontiac makes are grey in color.I have a monotone vibe and was wondering if the dealer or someone can paint them my Salsa color so they will tend to blend in with the rest of the car and not stick out like a sore thumb. I installed the Vibe splash guards on my Abyss monotone. You can hardly notice them...they blend in well. Take a look at the picture links in my signature.

Yes, those black mudflaps blend in very well with your black monotone.

I put these mud flaps om my monotone salsa vibe and they do not look out of place. I actually thought about painting before I installed them...in the end they look pretty good.

I finally got the proper molded Vibe mudflaps from my dealer. They had originally denied there was such a thing, I had to provide them the GM part #'s TWICE So I am adept at removing the rear wheels now. Installed all four last night, 1 hour's work. Looks great Finally I'll take a pic of the wheel wells full of ice and snow and post it someday

I had the dealer installed them and it cost me $92 and change.

I think the set of 4 ran me $42 for the splash guards from the dealer, uninstalled. They are grey and my Vibe is Neptune with the monotone. They don't look bad at all, I think. I have the Slate interior and they are about the exact same color as the hard plastic lining on the rear seatbacks and in the cargo area. I have only installed the front ones so far (took about 10 min total), but the rears require removing the rear wheels and drilling into the plastic bodywork. Thats gonna take a little more time. But so far the ones installed are doing a good job of keeping most of the crud off of the lower parts of the car and I'm really glad I bought them.

Installation of the front flaps were cake, but had to remove the rear wheels in order to get the rear flaps installed.Overall time for my do-it-yourself install: 1 hourThey look OK with my monotone white, but their benefits far outweigh the chance of getting damage from rock salt, gravel, mud, etc. on the paint.

I got a bonus check, so decided I'd get the mud flaps too. $22 a pair + tax, front or back from my dealer.Fronts installed in about 1/2 hour, with half of that time cleaning the area and trying to pop the bottom plug out. I haven't tackled the rears yet, as I'm waiting for the next warm day when I can get the winter grime washed off the whole car and have a clean vehicle to work on.Anyone still undecided... get them. They'll add value to your Vibe.KSNeptune

I'm going to get them, but I think I'm going to cut them down so they aren't hanging so close to the road. Anyone done that with theirs?
