ok, obviously, there will never be an awd exaust system, why, i don't know.so, i want a flowmaster 60 series muffler.i probably would also get a custom catback made t the local muffler shop.A) would this be a good ideaB) are the inlets 2.25" stock on an AWD?

It probably would work, just don't go up in size. The muffler will take away some backpressure to give you better performance, but I think going up in pipe size would take too much away and you would have an absolute slug around town. I know some will disagree, but that is what i think.Just go with the muffler and a tip. Anything more than that without a S/C is probably detrimental.

I would stay with the stock size pipe and replace the stock muffler with your flowmaster, or like me a magnaflow. I like them because they don't resonate into the box. All the sound goes out the back. I hear the intake more than the exhaust.

last question:since the muffler is mounted sideways, will this cause any probs?

My 50 series went on great. You just need to make sure you get the right inlet/outlet offset. just take a peek at you stock muffler and that will let you know. I don't really like the sound of the magnaflow's. Had one on my sunfire. Way to raspy/tingy for me, especially when cold.

yeah, according to what i have read up on, the 60 series is my best bet. i'll prob check the local performance shops to get a price. then, i can get a discount on the install! (my uncle knows a guy at the muffler shop)now that i think of it, he knows someone at the parts store too!
