I voted for Wildwood, since I vacation there. I could easily turn this into a mini-vacation.Any of those locations are good IMO.

I voted for Cape May since I lost too many bluefish while day trippin' on the finest fishing vessel ever known to Sandy Hook: the "Fisherman"

I voted for Cape May. This is just an idea, but have you thought of coming the other way. For instance the Deleware water Gap. Lots of trails, picnic places, etc. Course you're getting this from someone that would hike every weekend if time allowed.

If all attendees are over 21, I believe atlantic city would be enjoyable. Me Likey Craps. I'd probably go too depending on dates.

I really wouldn't care where this would be. It would actually be manageable to make it to any of these locations for me. Looking at no more than 4 hrs. Sweet! What date are we looking at? I like going to new places!

Looks like Cape May is gonna win. Wildwood is only a few miles away for boardwalk fun and games. I just hope it isnt too far south for the NJ/NY peeps.

Ahhhh Cape May, Love that place... some realy good campgrounds in the area, one only 5 miles from the beach. There is also a plethra of Bed & Breakfasts and hotels. Not to mention Wildwood is jjust over the bridge and is home to some of the more swanky type hotels and motels. I just hope we have a real nice summer with not too much rain like this past year.

I'm all about southernness...the further south, the better. If Central Ohio wasn't too far for me...the NJ people can handle going further south in their own, much smaller, state.

Hi all, my wife and I are new to the site. We live way the heck up in sussex county. Island Beach would be a good meeting place as it's central to the state. We'd like to hook up with you folks sometime. Keith

New Jersey .... very strange! For the most part of my life, the only part of New Jersey I knew was using the New Jersey Turnpike to reach parts north. I never had any interest in seeing anything in New Jersey. That is, until 2 years ago, when one of my best friends and his family moved from Baltimore to Jackson, NJ for a job advancement. I knew at the time how his family disliked being uprooted to live in all places ... New Jersey.I am an avid mountain biker (in the sense of finding decent trails of all types to ride), and New Jersey has really impressed me in all it has to offer. In the last 2 years, I have visited my friend perhaps 12 times, and yet am amazed at all the places in New Jersey I have yet to explore.Island Beach is wonderful, as is Sandy Hook (the lighthouse is wonderful ... first one I was ever in, and has a new bike trail). I have been to Atlantic City, where I took a bus ride run by the casinos and used the $25 given for the purpose to gamble, for food instead. Never been to Cape May, though. And for bike trails, New Jersey is one of the best. Visited Clayton Park, Manasquan Reservoir, Shark River, Allaire, Double Trouble, Wells Mills, Delaware & Raritan Canal, and others I cannot remember right now. I sure wish Maryland offered as much as a variety as New Jersey does!I even have learned about "Jug Handles"! Overall, I think New Jersey is wonderful, and always looking forward in visiting again soon. And my friend's family has come to love New Jersey as well. I am really impressed with all that your state has to offer, and cannot wait for the Cape May meet!

You want great mountain bike trails then head on up to north Warren County and Sussex County. We're loaded with them and they are quite challenging. I don't go myself, but know many people who do. I know there are bike trail guides you can get, check
http://www.nj.com you might find one there. There ae many abandoned rail lines in Sussex/Warren that have been converted to bike trails. They go miles on end, just watch out for the bears.
