Not sure where to post this...it's more of a funny story than specific to anything technical. Just though I'd share with y'all.I'm in my car at the movie rental store, engine running, waiting to back up. It's a busy parking lot, and there are several cars behind me blocking me. The traffic finally clears, but there is one car still sitting right behind me so I can't move. I'm not impatient, but bored, so I rev my engine real good a couple times...the guy in the car behind me jumped out - RAN to the store entrance and dropped his movie off, apologizing profusely the whole time. Hahaha! It was pretty funny. That CAI is my new best friend! Next up, exhaust at the end of the month!

I do that sometimes, but since I have a CAI, full cat-back system, and a/m exhaust, most people are like "SHADDUP $^@^%^%&@!!!!!!"

Great fun, eh? It's always great to do it next to people who only have tips on their exhaust

HAHAHA!!! I can see it now, Carrie all bored, sitting in her car playing with her hair. Revs the engine, that nice beautiful CAI sound just roaring. Guy looks back, sees killer girl reving her engine on the mean Vibe with blacked out windows... has to rush home and change his underwear.

It happened to me before but some lady was about to cross the street not using the pedestrian crosswalk she was just in the middle of a street. I turned the corner floored it and she was about 2 feet from the sidewalk she heard me and jumped back on the sidewalk and stared at me as I drove by.. It was funny to watch.

Don't you just love the growl of the CAI. My gas mileage on my last 2 tanks has sucked because I keep winding her out.

Hey, it feels like a few extra ponies and it sounds mean. I am a happy man.

That's funny. People don't expect that kind of sound out of a little car. Couple that with an exhaust and you will be turning a lot of heads. That stuff usually happens to people when I lay on my horn.
