anyone know anything about 1966-77 Ford Broncos??

i mentioned this in an earlier post, i dont know if anyone read it....anyways, i am looking to buy an older ford bronco and fix it up. anyone know much about them or have any expirience with them? thanks

hey meat, how's it going? They sell Broncos in Iraq?Don't know much specific about Broncos, but in general, cars in the 66-77 range will be relatively basic by today's standards, not much in terms of electronic engine control. That can be a good thing sometimes, easier to work on mechanical controls.Probably a ton of them made, so there might be good parts availability from junkyards, unless the junkyards have purged their stock to bring in more recent models.Seems like the steel they used in cars back then was much more prone to rust than what gets used in cars recently. All the cars I had from that vintage were rusty.
