Yeah it was great last year! My company gave my bf and I tickets for the silver grandstands at pit exit last year. Awesome!

I'm am actually gonna be in New Orleans on Sunday and will miss it this year but I agree it was great last year and we should have a very nice weekend for the race How were your ears after the race?

No problems with my ears. I am used to it as I went to the Molson Indy in Toronto for years before going to the F1. The cars sound different, but once you get used to it there's no problem with hearing.

I would like to check out the Indy in TO one day....

The Toronto Indy was awesome - back when they had the awesome drivers. Now its not such a thrill for me anymore. All the drivers I was familiar with left for the IRL. Except Paul Tracy.

How much did you spend on tickets if you don't mind me asking?

Hmm... I'm not really sure. My dad always bought them (he and I would go together). We had silver 3 day passes right across the start/finish line - so you could see the pit lane as well.

No pics eh? LOL I tried to take pics at the F race a few years ago with my digi cam and all I got was blurry pictures but the roar of the engines was the best sound I ever heard
