Trying to order a CAI

Yup decided to go for the highly reccommended AEM with K&N filter kit. Its for about $290 I was quoted but think any of the places I called around for that price can get me one. I was told "Oh yeah, call us when you need one, we'll call them and they will have it here in a day, 2 at the most."Having bugged the place all day today, they still have not gotten in touch with AEM to get me one. I checked out another place and they are looking up price and availability for me and will call me tomorrow after lunch... if they remember...God this is frustrating. And added to that they do not list Pontiac Vibes. So I had them look up Toyota Matrix XR since its the same. I wanted one by the weekend... my project.

I don't want a short RAM though Sam, I'm after CAI, the long full air intake pipe thing. And the Matrix model is the same.

Thanks for the info. Another question, putting short ram or cai can help to have more mileage? Can provoque a negative thing to the engin? If i understand well is like putting a fan or a water cooling in the computer to help the cpu to not over heat. With this you can overclock the cpu.Maybe same for the engin, more hp,but for the cpu is not good for long terme.Maybe it is the same for the engin?Sorry, for my questioni'm not very familiar with this thing.I use computer terme, because i'm a big fan.Since i owe the vibe i'm become a big fan of tunning. Thanks guy's to learning me. Now the problem is to split the money on computer tunning and car tunning.

CAI the car, it will have more power to get you to the computer store faster. Ordered an AEM Cold Air Intake... we'll see how well the place I ordered it from knows their cars on monday when it is suppose to arrive. Guess its not this weekend's project. I'll manage it before the meet though.

Phil, this shop is good, gotta stay away from ordering performance parts from Walmart, I mean, Canadian Tire I'll pick up your CAI Friday or Monday and deliver it personally. How's that for service? lol
