*sigh*

So I haven't even been by myself for 24 hours and already I'm lonely! And I've got another week to go like this! ARG! I'm drinking wine by myself - liable to polish off the bottle by the end of the night. The cats aren't much company - they don't answer when I talk to them except for the occassional "mer-ow." My friends all have families... I can't wait for Paul to come back!

aww... i'm sorry to hear that. it definitely gets lonely when you're used to someone being there with you. but if your cats start to talk back to you, then you know you've had too much to drink!

Well I'm done my bottle of wine and the cats have disappeared, so now its genvibe and the TV to keep me entertained. Its true that absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Well since I just had a whole bottle of wine by myself I don't think I'll go anywhere. We just got this "on demand" feature on cable where there's 1400 movies that you can buy and use like a regular movie (instead of pay per view) with pause, rewind and fast forward... but I think I might fall asleep before the movie ends.

LOL. yes, please don't drive anywhere! what about a nice bubble bath? i love taking a hot bath in our jacuzzi tub. then after i turn into a prune, i dry off and go to bed!

I have no "bubbles" for a bubble bath. Nor do I have a jacuzzi tub - my parents have one but they're two hours away! Luckily on Wednesday a friend is coming over for dinner and a movie. And Tuesday and Thursday I have sessions with my trainer at the gym... so that just leaves Monday, Friday and next Saturday to entertain myself.

So do something you normally wouldn't do if there were people there, like dancing like a fool until you're tired, then take a shower, and enjoy a nice peaceful drive around town

Well luckily I have a good time with my coworkers and we're taking my pregnant boss out for a surprise "shower/lunch" so that should be good. I think I'll go shopping after work. This is what happens to people who move from their parents house in with their significant other - they have no idea what to do with themselves when their SO leaves for a week!

With my line of work you have no choice but to travel.Sputnik I feel your pain, all I can say is I hope times flies real fast when your BF is not around. Keep yourself busy and in no time he will be home.... Thanks its nice that someone understands. When you're with someone 24/7 (and yes we are because we work together) and then they go away for 10 days its kind of tough. Some people maybe cynical about it and thinking "oh stop whining about yourself... blah blah blah" but I don't really give a damn... if I feel like posting about missing someone I will (and I did!)... others post multiple new threads about their trips, pets, life situations etc etc, so if I want to post that I'm missing someone, then tough noogies

tough noogies, eh? LOLwell, nothing wrong w/ posting about you missing your bf. cause if you didn't, then you know there's something wrong! but i am envious because you get to be with him somewhat soon.... so it could be worse! look on the bright side: when he gets home in a few days, it will be fun! LOL

yeah noogies - I wanted to say the "s - word" but new it would be blocked. I slept with the cats last night. They took over the entire half of the bed where Paul sleeps. I think they're enjoying it.

oh i bet they are enjoying it! my little pups sleep w/ me. the one little one likes to curl up under the covers just under my arm and the other lays ontop of my leg.when i moved back home going thru my divorce, it took a good 6 mos to a yr to get used to someone not being there. is kinda nice to have someone to cuddle up to at night (and i'm not talking about the pets!)

That's why I'm gonna play it safe when I get married. I mean, if there's no couch in the house, then I won't be spending the night on it (With my luck I'll be told to sleep in the bathtub anyways )

I have tried to bring her along a few times but for various reasons it hasn't worked out...but boy is it ever great when I come home PS I just came back from a week trip to Vegas on Saturday night and I am leaving this Sunday for New Orleans thank God no more trips till the fall!
