I believe I know what you are referring to and if so I have the same condition. It looks like the area inside the moonroof (when opened) was either not an area they focus on with perfection or it was hurried along during the process. They may also do this because it's not a highly visible area unless you purposely look for it.I really don't see it when I'm sitting inside the car looking up through the roof but notice it more once outside looking in. In my opinion, it doesn't bother me whether or not it's normal, and it also doesn't appear to affect the seal of the glass either. If it makes any difference, my '01 Cavalier w/ moonroof also has this condition, but far less noticable.I've attached a picture here with the yellow outlines marking the areas in question. Can you or anyone else chime in and confirm/deny this?
